Numerous supply chain articles discuss the potential for technology such as blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI), to turbocharge supply chain resilience. They delve into how the technology will transform an organization’s supply chain to become more agile and resilient. However, in practice, many technology projects do not achieve their promised return on investment and target resiliency outcomes. This session will examine how private and public sector frontline workers overcome recurring obstacles to maintain efficient operations and promote supply chain resiliency using research gathered from over 50 supply chain leaders.

Learning Objectives:

1. Review data and information gathered from the Supply Chain Leaders

2. Explain the opportunity for organizations to implement processes to improve patient care and frontline workers’ processes.

3. Examine practical use of innovative technologies to increase supply chain resilience.

4. Analyze the challenges discovered within the research and supplemental research to improve the Healthcare Supply Chain.
