The assurance of supply is a constant battle for supply chain professionals on the front lines and in the executive suite. But shifting the culture of the supply chain to one that is more proactive than reactive remains a work in progress. During this session, we’ll discuss the most up-to-date dynamic forces including disasters, geopolitics, resources, transportation, and labor, and how they are impacting the supply chain. Participants will gain current insight and knowledge to assist in demand planning and ensure that necessary medical supplies and products are available when needed.

Learning objectives:

1. Analyze the current global landscape to gain a deeper understanding of the current and pending factors that are impacting shortages/disruptions now and in the near term.

2. Describe best practices and plans to mitigate any disruptions and shortages while optimizing stock/inventory levels to meet demand and ensure care.

3. Identify strategies to foster further collaboration and improve communication among supply chain stakeholders to develop a more proactive culture.

4. Develop a process to audit your supply chain to understand and have full transparency into where your vulnerabilities may lie.
