Similar to the IDN Summit Lunch N Learns and Focus Groups, Boardroom Sessions are in-depth educational forums offering opportunity for discussion and learnings related to current issues impacting the healthcare supply chain. These invitation-only sessions allowed host companies the chance for open dialogue about strategies, problem solving and informed decision making in the changing atmosphere of the healthcare supply chain. Led by industry leaders, these provider-only sessions are designed to be interactive and provide access to experts from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Invited attendees selected which Boardroom Sessions to attend after completing registration.

Value-based Healthcare – From Platitude to Partnerships

For many, value-based healthcare is still viewed as a nice goal to have, but not one that is gaining market momentum. For others, it is becoming the guiding principle for the future of provider and supplier relationships. In this session, Lumere Chief Medical Officer John Cherf, MD, MPH, MBA will explore with Medtronic's Vice President of Value-based Healthcare Christian Howell and Bill Selles, Senior Director of Procurement, Spectrum Health how suppliers and providers are navigating this new landscape and building  partnerships that delivers value for their respective organizations and the populations they serve.

Optimizing Purchased Services Post-Covid

With the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, business continuity became a matter of survival for many hospitals across the country. Soaring demand and supply shortages thrust supply chain organizations to the center of boardroom-level focus. Underpinning these conversations are the suppliers, including third-party services, which play an incredible role in the evolving response. This webinar will cover the four emerging themes guiding the future of purchased services procurement.

Harnessing the Power of Procedural Supply and Clinical Data

Identifying improvement opportunities, increasing efficiency, and highlighting exceptional performance can be challenging and time-consuming when data resides in disparate systems. As supply chain becomes increasingly data-driven, health systems are leveraging technology to determine how cost, utilization and clinical outcomes affects other areas of resource management. In this session, you will learn how to combine clinical and supply analytics to understand the costs, utilization, and quality of care associated with each patience experience.
