Achieving More: The Value of Partnerships

8:00 AM - 9:15 AM MST

Supply chain leaders are tasked with achieving high-impact, enterprise-wide strategic goals, yet are simultaneously burdened by months of RFP meetings to make purchasing decisions. For these leaders to help drive greater efficiencies across the health system, it is essential that their relationships with medical technology providers evolve from transactional purchasing models to long-term, value-driven partnerships that support performance improvements, cost containment and ongoing innovation. This session will explore the challenges supply chain leaders face in today’s healthcare environment and how having a nimble partner with a vested interest in the health system’s success can help accelerate value creation across the enterprise.

Customer First: Increasing Supply Chain Resiliency

9:45 AM - 11:00 AM MST

The COVID-19 pandemic introduced never-before-seen challenges for the healthcare industry. Supply chain executives responded quickly and sometimes creatively to implement new protocols to acquire key supplies such as PPE, ventilators and diagnostic tools to safely triage and treat both infected and non-infected patients.

Leveraging lessons learned from navigating the crisis, supply chain executives continue to strengthen resiliency in overcoming challenges, in part by creating greater visibility into their supply chain network and working proactively with preferred vendors to minimize manufacturing and delivery disruptions.

This interactive session will explore the strategies and technologies supply chain executives are using to optimize and future-proof their supply chain, and how vendors like Siemens Healthineers have taken the necessary steps to help safeguard the quality, continuity and reliability of the products and services they provide.
