Sara Turnbow serves as the Vice President of Pharmacy Purchasing and Contracting for Fairview Pharmacy Services, which supports pharmacy purchasing for a health system consisting of 11 hospitals, over 60 clinics, and specialty, home infusion, and retail pharmacy services. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from North Dakota State University, completed a residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, and spent two years at the University of Wisconsin–Madison completing a fellowship focused on outcomes research. Additionally, she obtained a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota in the School of Public Health. Before her current role, Dr. Turnbow successfully ran a group purchasing organization for seventeen years and has contributed her expertise to Fairview for the past three years.
