Richard is currently Adventist Health System Director of Pharmacy Contracts and Sourcing, where he has responsibility for 56 hospitals in 9 states and many non -acute healthcare settings. His prior position was system director of pharmacy for AdventHealth Orlando campuses. Richard has been with Florida Hospital /Adventist Health for 33 years, serving in various pharmacy operations and management positions.

Richard is active at both the state and national pharmacy organizations, serving as President of the Florida Society of Health System Pharmacist in 2008-2009. He was FHSP Pharmacist of the year in 2011. Richard has also served as a Subject Matter Expert for ASHP Biosimilar Project and the Supply Cold Chain project.

Richard was a member of the Florida Board of Pharmacy, serving as chairman for the 2020 session. He served as vice chair in 2019.

Richard has a B.S degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s in business administration from the University of Central Florida. He has completed certificate programs with Wharton and Boston University.
