The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the strategic importance of the healthcare supply chain to IDNs. As healthcare leaders reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of their pandemic operations, it’s time to consider the strategic role of a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO). In this session, healthcare leaders will discuss the difference in the value added by supporting the strategic role of CSCOs. Topics will include the benefits of having a CSCO, communicating the role’s importance to senior leadership, developing leadership talent, and practical suggestions to elevate the supply chain within your IDN.
