Date & Time
Saturday, August 22, 2020, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Description

The demand for healthcare supply chain data and the need for more advanced analytical tools has increased exponentially. Without accurate data and analytics, IDNs are vulnerable to errors in decision-making, shortages, and unwelcomed surprises in crises. GPOs, in their role as a conduit between providers and suppliers, are in a unique position to bridge the data gap. In this session, a panel of GPO executives will discuss managing and utilizing this influx of data, using data to inform risk management strategies, and areas for future growth in supply chain data-sharing.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Evaluate supply chain data tools, including predictive analytics and inventory management systems, and their best purpose.
  2. Discuss how to implement data-informed risk management strategies, even when data isn’t readily available.
  3. Identify barriers to effective data-sharing between providers and suppliers.
