The COVID-19 pandemic presented a historic challenge to the healthcare supply chain. This perfect storm disrupted the status quo and revealed critical weaknesses that handicapped IDN crisis operations. As the healthcare industry slowly emerges from these impacts, once-regarded supply chain strategies and sourcing norms have been questioned.
