Susan is the Director of Purchasing and Value Analysis at CAMC Health System. She has over 35 years of healthcare experience where she has worked as an RN at the bedside, as a Clinical Consultant/Account Executive for a medical device company and now is in a leadership role in Supply Chain for the last eleven years.
In her current role in Supply Chain she oversees contracting, procurement and sourcing for CAMC as well as having oversight of the IDN’s five Value Analysis teams, vendor credentialing, recalls and safety notices. Along with her team she participates in several GPO and Regional GPO contracting committees.
She holds an Associates Degree in Nursing and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership and Development and has carried Certifications in the past that include Certification in Critical Care (CWS) from American Association of Critical Care Nurse and Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) from the American Academy of Wound Management. Susan also served for 10 years in the Army Reserve Nurse Corps.
