Kreg Koford is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Hospital Operations at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). His responsibilities include enterprise supply chain, food and nutrition, sustainability, planning, optimization, and hospital finance and budgeting. Kreg sits on multiple enterprise-wide committees including Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Conflict of Interest, Internal Audit, and Hospital Quality & Safety. Kreg Joined MSK in 2018 after spending 15 years at Intermountain Healthcare.
Prior to MSK, Kreg was responsible for managing more than $2.2 billion of non-labor spending at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Solutions. In that role, he led the Intermountain supply chain organization to the number-one spot on the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 ranking in both 2017 and 2018. He also managed Intermountain’s key customer and supplier relationships, with a focus on identifying new sources of value that extended beyond traditional price decreases and margin-shifting activities. Kreg joined Intermountain in 2003 as a project manager, implementing clinical information systems. He quickly took on greater responsibility in his subsequent roles as Strategic Sourcing Manager, Senior Manager of Supply Chain Solutions, and then Director, Supply Chain Solutions.
Before Intermountain, he worked in the high-tech sector, providing consultation, implementation, and account management to key customers.
A native of Los Angeles, Kreg earned his bachelor’s degree and his master’s in business administration from Brigham Young University. Most recently, Kreg received certifications from Intermountain Healthcare’s Advanced Leadership Program and Michigan State University’s Executive Program, in addition to becoming a Certified Professional in Supply Management. He previously earned certifications from the Association for Health Care Resource and Materials Management’s Supply Chain Leadership Institute and IPS Project Management Advanced Training.
