Sean Poellnitz is a visionary servant leader focused on business and leadership excellence. His leadership is synonymous with being a thoughtful, transformative agent for high-caliber organizations. Sean is a dynamic operational strategist with rich experience at several Fortune 500 companies within the transportation and defense industries and several nationally recognized non-profit healthcare systems.

Currently, Sean Poellnitz is Chief Resource Officer at Renown Health. In his current role, Sean leads the resource strategy for the system and, in addition, all supply chain operations, including purchasing, value analysis, data management, contract services, group purchasing organization, logistics, print shop, and material distribution for the health system.

Formerly, at Mosaic Health System, he oversaw similar operations as the System Vice President of Supply Chain Management. At USMD, a United Healthcare Company, Sean was Senior Director of Supply Chain & Ancillary Services for the Dallas Market.

Previously in his career, Sean was a Corporate Director of Contracting and Resource Utilization for CHRISTUS Health, an international Catholic, non-profit health system. Additionally, Sean held various leadership positions for CHI Health, Raytheon, Southern California Regional Rail Authority, and Union Pacific Railroad.

Currently, he serves on the Advisory Board for the Design Thinking Certificate Program at Missouri State University and the Executive Advisory Council for the Missouri Western Craig School of Business. As a part of his community leadership, Sean serves on the Board of Directors for Mosaic, an organization based in Omaha, NE, that provides services to empower persons with disabilities across 13 states. He also serves as past President of the Board of Directors for FARMS, a non-profit organization serving rural farmers in Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Before entering the healthcare industry, he was a member of the American Public Transportation Association Procurement and Materials Management Committee. Sean also held a certification in Public Transit Procurement from the National Transit Institute.

Sean earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Tuskegee University and earned a Master's Degree in Organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. Sean also holds a graduate certification in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

Sean has contributed to articles in "The Journal of Healthcare Contracting" and other healthcare publications. Sean is a highly sought national speaker contributing to healthcare forums such as Becker's, the IDN Summit, ECRI Institute's Value Analysis Roadshow, and Health Connect Partners.

Sean is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and resides in Kansas City, MO.
