Providers, Suppliers, GPO, and Distributor attendees will take an in-depth exploration into the challenges they currently face to prioritize value in both their patient care and business strategies. Guided sessions provide time to openly discuss issues that attendees identify crucial to their organization’s goals and then share differences they have made to address value and value analysis processes. Brainstorming, short cases studies, and other activities will help develop the future landscape of healthcare value decision making and facilitate opportunities to advance objectives to assist identifying a clear path to stop doing, keep doing, and start doing impactful work.


At the beginning of guided sessions, there will be brief real-world kick-off presentations aimed at framing attendee discussions and generating insightful perspectives.

This session offers the opportunity to learn from your peers regarding current organizational pressures and explores structures and cultures that may prevent a clear path to success. Foster discussion concerning roles and responsibilities within your organization and those of other attendees.

2. Identify similarities in framework between attendees.
3. Examine possibilities of vulnerability in an organization’s structure.
4. Explain insights, ideas, and experiences through group sharing opportunities.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Understand the internal and external pressures faced by attendee organizations today that challenge their success. Engage with peers in group sharing opportunities to identify difficulties preventing these organizations from reaching both their patient care and business goals.

1. Define value analysis and its implications for attendees.
2. Identify obstacles in decision making and implementing business or patient care strategies.
3. Learn from peers through areas of vulnerability in their organization.
4. Compare organizational goals and priorities moving forward.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Learn useful insights from attendees on combatting future challenges impacting IDN value analysis programs. Formulate a strategic approach to providing dynamic and effective work while eliminating processes that are preventing efficiency in your organization. In this session, develop foundational approaches to the future of decision-making in healthcare across the supply value chain.

1. Engage in conversations about how attendees have addressed solutions for change.
2. Learn practical action steps through applicable success stories.
3. Discover effective solutions implemented through learnings in or out of your own organization.
4. Define tactical strategies for managing costs, quality, and outcomes now and for the near- and long-term future.
