Thomas Matanich joined Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. as a Contract Manager within the Supply Chain department in October 2017 after 12 years in operations at Humana. He is currently the Associate Vice President of Pharmacy Business Operations and Finance, within the Pharmacy department, responsible for pharmacy procurement, drug shortages, accounts payable, revenue cycle, and contract management. Baptist is the largest health system in Kentucky with 8 hospitals, 13 retail pharmacies, 5 surgery centers, 7 stand-alone infusion centers, a home infusion pharmacy, and over 400 non-acute clinics with an annual drug budget of over $750 million. Thomas holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Six-Sigma Black Belt, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
