Andrea Williford is the Director of Category Management and Procurement-Clinical at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is skilled in leadership, nursing, strategic sourcing, and healthcare management. She joined the organization in 2001, as a registered nurse. With over 14 years of critical care and perioperative nursing/management experience, Andrea transitioned to a RN Strategic Sourcing Manager role supporting procedural and perioperative areas within Supply Chain. She was promoted to the Director position in 2019. In her current role, she has oversight over all clinical sourcing and procurement activities as well as the value analysis program at UMMC.

Andrea’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of Southern Mississippi. She received her MSN from University of Mississippi with a focus on Nursing and Healthcare Administration. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, which typically involves cheering from the sidelines of her children’s sporting events these days.
