Sara Henderson, MBA, is System Vice President of Supply Chain, Procurement and Sustainability at Avera Health, bringing more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience across finance, supply chain and procurement. She leads enterprise strategy spanning sourcing, contracting, purchasing, logistics, inventory, sustainability and non-labor spend across Avera’s integrated network. Sara has led major transformation efforts, including development of Avera’s Integrated Services Center, enterprise-wide supply chain standardization, strategic sourcing governance and expanded contract lifecycle management. Earlier in her career, she helped consolidate eight healthcare information systems into a single platform and led a $13 million systemwide savings initiative. She also guided supply chain operations through the COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening resilience, coordination and clinical partnership.
