Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Tip O’Neal, famously said that ‘all politics is local’ and while events of the past two years may have focused attention around the globe, we are well to remember that all healthcare is delivered locally. We all serve are immediate communities and champion the fight for better healthcare in our communities down to the zip code. Population health has presented us a unique platform to observe and deliver personalized and preventative care to each community group helping to erase healthcare disparities. This Thought Leadership Panel will share actual examples of improving the overall quality of life through the efforts of the healthcare supply chain.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe inequalities that exist in communities we serve in both rural and urban settings.
- Analyze Population Health strategies to identify underserved population groups and unmet healthcare needs.
- Summarize opportunities that each of us involved in the healthcare supply chain can participate in serving the healthcare needs of all community members
