There is no shortage of resources claiming to share the “25 best healthcare KPI’s and metrics” that you should be tracking right now. But what works best for your organization might not work for others…and vice versa. Or, you may have some insight on under the radar KPIs that have made a huge impact on your organization. Remote Workforce Management

Healthcare, just like many other segments of business and industry, has discovered that many jobs can be successfully done from home. According to a recent survey by PwC, 33% of companies plan a mix of in-person, hybrid and fully remote workplace settings going forward. But healthcare is in a bit more of a tricky situation in creating a hybrid model that balances productivity with morale and most importantly, maintaining the focus on patient care. Lets’ talk about the trends and challenges of managing the growing remote workforce.

Given that building resiliency, finding product options and mitigating the impact of shortages will be a long-term challenge that must be addressed, what are some of the processes, best practices and contingencies that you have put into place to address these issues?

Given the global focus on better environmental stewardship across the board, it is essential for healthcare to do its part in implementing environmentally friendly policies and practices. Things like environmentally preferable purchasing programs, more efficient ordering protocols, new processes to reduce waste, donating materials, and enhanced recycling, are all steps that can and have been taken. During this discussion, we’ll elaborate on the challenges, successes, trends and innovations that are driving better green strategies.

As we surpass the two-year mark of the pandemic, IDNs are still left wondering when supply chains will get back to “normal”. Shortages, labor constraints, storage limitations, and increasing delivery rates are all expected to continue through the high demands of 2022. That being said, this year could mark a turning point. IDNs and suppliers are making big investments to add capacity and are increasingly adopting new technology that will drive efficiencies and lower costs. Join Brent Petty, as he leads this discussion on how the supply chain industry is changing, and what you need to do to optimize your system.

2022 Spring IDN Summit Welcome Reception

We had a great time onsite with everyone at the IDN Summit reception. The reception gave all attendees a chance to network in a more informal setting as well as strengthen those relationships they had been building the entire conference.
