Carlos is a Deloitte M&A and Restructuring Practice leader. He has over 20 years of Supply Chain experience in the Life Sciences, Health Care, Consumer Products, and Industrial Products industries. Prior to joining Deloitte, Carlos was the VP & Chief Procurement Officer at Express Scripts where he led a Procurement transformation, Sourcing & Real Estate integration planning, and execution with Cigna; exceeding year one synergy capture by 30%.

Prior to Express Scripts he was the VP, North America Procurement at Monsanto. Earlier in his career he implemented Procurement transformations and restructuring efforts in the consumer products industry.

He has consulted with private equity, health care, and life sciences clients on M&A synergy capture strategy, operational due diligence (inclusive of all corporate functions), supply chain due diligence, and partners closely with senior management teams to deliver value throughout the M&A lifecycle.

Carlos graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and a Masters in Business Administration from the Foster College of Business at Bradley University.
