Mark Welch is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Novant Health, responsible for non-labor expenditures, supply chain logistics, operations, procurement, sourcing, and clinical supply chain engagement. In this role, Welch has managed cost control initiatives, introduced new programs, and addressed team member retention. 

Welch also chairs the Board of MNS Network LLC, an organization consisting of three integrated networks that collaborate to reduce supply chain costs through volume, spending, and shared expertise. 

Since joining Novant Health in 2005, Welch has held positions such as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, Vice President of the Novant Health Logistics Center, and Vice President of Strategic Sourcing. He has overseen changes within the supply chain division, implementing solutions to address challenges in organization, delivery, and value-based operations. 

Welch holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Pfeiffer Universit
