Eric Tichy obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, completed his postgraduate pharmacy residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital and received a Master of Business Administration from Yale University School of Management. He currently works for the Mayo Clinic where he is Division Chair, Supply Chain Management responsible for the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain and Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Tichy’s professional interests include leadership, immunology, plasma protein therapeutics and supply chain management. He is immediate past chair of the End Drug Shortages Alliance and contributing editor in therapeutics for the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy.
Dr Tichy has held leadership positions in state and national pharmacy and medical organizations, is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Transplantation, has published over forty journal articles and book chapters and regularly presents research at national medical meetings.

Mark Welch is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Novant Health, responsible for non-labor expenditures, supply chain logistics, operations, procurement, sourcing, and clinical supply chain engagement. In this role, Welch has managed cost control initiatives, introduced new programs, and addressed team member retention.
Welch also chairs the Board of MNS Network LLC, an organization consisting of three integrated networks that collaborate to reduce supply chain costs through volume, spending, and shared expertise.
Since joining Novant Health in 2005, Welch has held positions such as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, Vice President of the Novant Health Logistics Center, and Vice President of Strategic Sourcing. Steve Zdziebko is Strategic Sourcing Manager at Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY. Steve has been with Kaleida Health for 18 years and has significant experience in Procurement/ Sourcing, Value Analysis and Supply Chain. He currently manages the Strategic Sourcing team of 10 employees and contracting across the system.
Prior to becoming Strategic Sourcing Manager, he led the Peri-operative Value Analysis Team for 13 years at Kaleida contributing to over $20 million in realized savings for the Peri-Operative Value Analysis Team. During his career, Steve has collaborated closely with key hospital leadership, physicians, GPO leadership and suppliers in order build meaningful relationships to drive cost savings and contract compliance.
Steve received his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Fredonia. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Steve presented at Premier Breakthrough 2024 “Implementing a New Product and Technology” as well as the IDN Summit in 2017, 2019 and 2023.
