Ruben Colón serves as Vice President of Supply Chain System Strategic Sourcing for the AdventHealth system. In this role, he is responsible for leading, managing, transforming, and advancing all strategic sourcing and contract management functions and initiatives, including supply chain resiliency and supplier diversity across AdventHealth.
Ruben brings more than 25 years of supply chain leadership experience. Prior to joining AdventHealth in 2009, he helped lead the supply chain team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he served in multiple leadership roles and developed critical programs and systems that enhanced customer satisfaction, reduced operational costs, and improved organizational efficiency and capabilities.
Ruben earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University. In addition, he has served on the boards of Prospera, an economic development nonprofit organization, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando.
Ruben and his wife, Linette, have been married for nearly 33 years and have two children. In his personal time, he enjoys oil painting, running, following the Marvel universe, and, most importantly, spending time with his family.
