Tarun Kapoor, MD, MBA, is Founder of Digital Health Foundry, an advisory group with a tenacious focus on helping companies transform ideas into meaningful and effective solutions. 
Most recently, Dr. Kapoor was senior vice president and chief digital transformation officer at Virtua Health. In that role, he oversaw Virtua’s Digital Transformation Office and orchestrated Virtua’s enterprise-wide master plan in support of an intuitive care journey for all consumers. During his 17-year tenure at Virtua, he served in additional executive roles, including as the chief medical officer for Virtua’s multi-specialty medical practice, and as the head of population health.
Dr. Kapoor trained in internal medicine at The George Washington University Hospital, where he stayed on to serve as chief resident and clinical instructor. He obtained his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson, his undergraduate degree in government and chemistry from Cornell University, and his executive Master of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business of Temple University.
